As well as preparing certified private forest harvesting coupe plans, it provides audit services to local government on compliance of forest operations with coupe plan conditions and with the code of forest practices in plantations for which it has a responsibility for establishment, management, road location and construction, fire protection and harvesting and sale of produce from thinnings and final fellings.
