Greenfreight Pty Ltd was established in 1973 in Myrtleford to harvest, load and cart sawlogs to Australian Forest Industries mill, and to freight the finished product to markets, returning to the local area with general freight. Since then the Company has grown both in the harvesting and log cartage area and general freight. Greenfreight now operates mechanical tree harvesting equipment, log loaders, log trucks, linehaul heavy trucks, warehousing and distribution services. Greenfreight operates depot and warehousing facilities in Myrtleford, Wodonga, Wangaratta, Benalla, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide. Softwood harvesting and/or log loading and cartage contracts are currently held with Carter Holt Harvey, Monsbent, Dominance Industries, Victorian Plantations Corporation, and State Forests of New South Wales. Harvesting and cartage extends from Narbethong in the south to Tumut/Tumbarumba in the north. Mechanical harvesting equipment includes: Timbco, Waratah, Caterpillar and Valmet forest machines. Mechanical log loading equipment: 9 Prentice mobile knuckle boom cranes. Log trucks include: B.Doubles, dog trailer, folding and conventional skeletal semi trailers. The fleet of 30 trucks provides a balanced and flexible fleet to handle the variable logging conditions found in N.E. Victoria, Southern NSW. Greenfreight has the experience, flexibility and fire power to handle all softwood harvesting and cartage from the smallest to the largest job.

The business consists of five log trucks which are used in the Central Highlands for cartage of saw logs and pulp wood.
